Insurance claim repairs

Most cars in our shop are here on an insurance claim. This is what happens from the estimate to pickup.

  1. The estimate

Bring the car in. We go over the damage with you, write an estimate, and photograph what we find. If the car cannot be driven, call first.

  2. Your insurance company

Once you have opened a claim, we send our estimate to your insurer. If their adjuster needs to see the car, that happens here. If more damage turns up once panels come off, we document it and send a supplement to the insurer before continuing.

  3. The repair

Parts are ordered, the car is straightened, the panels are repaired or replaced, then painted in the booth. You can call the shop for an update any time during business hours.

  4. Pickup

When the car is done we call you. You look it over with us, settle any deductible your policy requires, and drive it home.

Your choice of repair shop

California law lets you choose where your car is repaired. The insurance company may have a shop it would rather send you to. The law leaves that choice with you. If you want the car here, tell the adjuster that.
